Peter Kidde, a work colleague of Mario Bonaminio, recently did the Manchester Bupa 10k run and raised £325 in sponsorship. He was looking for a good cause and after speaking to Mario has offered to donate the sponsorship money to us. Cheers Peter.

Under 17's Glasgow Trip 2009

The U17’s enjoyed an end of season trip to Glasgow over the weekend of 27^th/28^th June. We had matches against St Mirren Boys on the Saturday and Gleniffer Thistle on the Sunday. The lads played some excellent football winning both matches, 3-1 and 2-0 respectively. Thanks to both St Mirren and Gleniffer Managers and players for arranging the matches and hopefully we can return their hospitality sometime in the future.

Annual Golf Tournament

This year's Golf Tournament will be held at Blackburn golf club on Friday 11th September 2009.This is a four man team event in a stableford 18 hole format. On the day it includes a bacon barm cake & coffee on arrival, 18 holes golf with many prizes, evening three couse meal followed by a prize presentation.
