Saturday, 24 March 2012 - Mullti Sports Open Day

Between 1 pm & 4 pm on 24th March there will be a number of sports to try out for FREE. All these will take place either in the QEG's sports hall or the adjoining sports fields. Sports on the day will include football, netball, badminton , archery, tri golf , dodgeball, rounders, tennis, boccia among others. Just come & join in the activities whether as an individual or a family.

Blackburn Community Sports Club invite you to participate in their Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile on 25th March 2012. The club are once again holding a summer ball. The date of Saturday 16th June 2012 is the propsed date but this will be confirmed shortly. Further details will also be released in due course.

Friday, 22 June 2012 - Charity Three Peaks Challenge

At the end of June a group of intrepid walkers will be taking on the 3 peaks challenge — Ben Nevis., Scafell & Snowdonia in 24 hours. If you want to get

Friday, 21 September 2012 - Annual Golf Day

This years golf day will be held at Blackburn Golf Club on Friday, 21st September 2012. Details as follows:

Registration at 12.00 pm
Coffee / Bacon barmcake on arrival
Stableford Competition
Four man team event
Ł200 per team
(Ł180 if paid before August)
Shotgun start at 1.00 pm

Three course meal followed
by prize presentation

Saturday, 15 December 2012 - Adult Christmas Party

An adults Christmas party will be held in the Old Blackburnians club house on Saturday 15th December 2012. This is the proposed date will it will be confirmed shortly, as will details of the night.
The following day the younger element of the club will be taken bowling as their Christmas present from the club.
